‘Shackled’ is on IMDB
Monday, March 8th, 2010We are delighted to announce that Shackled has been awarded its own IMDB page. View it here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1603379/
Not everyone involved in making the film has been added as we were unsure of who had previous listings and who didn’t. You may want to correct individual credits if you already have an account or you can add yourself by using the ‘update data’ option. If you don’t have an account, you can easily create one which will allow you to add yourself.
If you have any questions about how to do any of this, or what exactly you should list yourself as, then let us know!
Also, once you have an account you can vote on the film (and The Hollow Girl if you’re feeling generous!) which may help it in the festival circuit!

Awards Update
Monday, March 8th, 2010We are happy to announce that Squid Media was one of the three finalists for ‘Best Creative Company’ at the Louth County Enterprise Awards on Friday the 5th of March. Congratulations to the winner of our category, Cathy Prendergast, and to all the other winners on the day. (Details: http://www.lceb.ie/)
Our short film The Hollow Girl was shown at the Dublin Film Fringe Festival on Saturday the 6th of March. Unfortunately we did not pick up any awards, but it was very interesting to see the range of films at the festival, both funded and unfunded (Hollow Girl being in the latter category). Thursday, December 10th, 2009As some of you may have noticed we’ve had some technical issues over the last few weeks.
I’m hoping it is safe to say that, bar a few design choices, things seem to be up and running again.
Hopefully things can get back to normal over the next few days!

General update

sorry for the lack of update, but Squid Media closed for holidays after shooting Shackled and finishing The Hollow Girl. Anyway, we’re back now and this is how things are looking for us:
The Hollow Girl has been submitted into 11 festivals – so wish us and it luck!
We’ll update you as soon as it sticks anywhere

ch-ch-ch-changes!

First of all we’re updating the site to be more film-centric and less corporate – give us time, but we think it’s coming togther nicely!
Secondly Squid Media’s experimental feature film Elipse has been renamed Shackled.
And yes – for those of you not in the know, we are shooting an experimental feature film in October. That’s an hour and a half of off the wall Squid Media goodness!
