Ambrose McDermott
Ambrose McDermott has been Squid Media’s resident cinematographer since its inception and is currently trying his hand at production.
Ambrose grew up in the folklore-steeped countryside of the Cooley Peninsula. After a childhood of exploring different possible career paths including zoology and geology, he eventually caught the filmmaking bug and decided to follow that particular dream.
He acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia from Dundalk Institute of Technology and went on to form Squid Media with Dave McCabe in 2007. His goal is to make a film that has a profound positive effect on at least one person’s life.
